The project is located on the Fremont Winema National Forest, Silver Lake Ranger District (RD) compound in Silver Lake, OR (Lake County, OR). The project site can be reached from Klamath Falls, OR by traveling north on US Highway 97 approximately 48 miles to the Silver Lake Highway, then turn east and travel 50 miles to US Highway 31, then turn south and travel 1 mile to the entrance to the Silver Lake Ranger District Compound.
