The purpose of the project is to remove existing 18' electric vehicle sliding gate/gate system, furnish and install a new 18', 3 phase, 280v, electric Tymetal Corporation, Type PLUSS High Security Gate(or exact equivalent) and associated gate system at the United States Penitentiary (USP). The exact requirements will be contained in the statement of work that is part of the solicitation packet that will be issued/posted at a later date.

Install one 30' sliding security vehicle gate including 3 strand barbed wire and with lock hasp. Install a keypad on a pedestal 15' from sliding gate and run 1" inch conduit and wiring to proposed sliding gate motor then to mechanical room in building 418 to provide a fully functional sliding gate. Install ground sensors at sliding gate. Install bollards at key pad location. . The estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000.
