Montgomery County seeks a Contractor to provide hazardous waste disposal services to County Residents, and non-residential entities that meet the definition of Small Quantity Generators (SQGs) as defined by the State of Maryland Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) Title 26, Subtitle 13, Section 02.05.
HHW CESQG waste may include, but is not limited to, common household products such as household cleaning products, spot removers, floor polish, furniture polish, aerosol cans, solvents; oven cleaner, pesticides, pool chemicals, nickel-cadmium, alkaline, carbon-zinc or other small batteries, intact spent fluorescent light tubes, intact spent high intensity discharge (HDD) lamps, cathode ray tubes (CRTs), compressed gas cylinders and fire extinguishers
Quantity Generator (VSQG) Hazardous Waste Collection Facility (“Facility”) located at 10319 North Seaman’s Gulch Road, Boise, ID 83714 and the operation of Household Hazardous Waste Mobile Collection Program (“HHW Mobile Collection Program”).
Summary: The purpose of this Request for Bid (RFB) by the Rivanna Solid Waste Authority (Authority) is to solicit sealed bids from interested vendors (Bidder) to provide Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG), and Electronic Waste (eWaste) collection, recycling, and disposal services for collection events held twice per year (excepting Paints which are accepted every day) by the Authority.
