Job Description:Position Overview:Reporting to the Executive Director of Workforce Development and Community Education, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the professional support of the College's workforce programming focused on health care and social assistance, hospitality and culinary, advanced manufacturing, clean energy and trades, education and childcare, along with other workforce training priorities.
The Kenosha County Division of Aging, Disability, and Behavioral Health Services (DADBHS) provides Kenosha County residents aged 60 and over or adults 18 and over with a disability and their families, information and assistance regarding questions and issues about Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid, other health insurance, housing and more.
This is a three (3) year contract with two (2) one-year options to renew for a maximum five (5) year term to provide Financial Management Services to Aging Programs under Title III, Grants to State and Community Programs on Aging, of the Older Americans Act (“OAA”) of 1965, as amended and in accordance with specified chapters in the Texas Administrative Code (“TAC”), Title 26, Social Services and Assistance.
Specifically, technical assistance related to SNAP-Ed reporting requirements, social marketing, and training for selected SNAP-Ed III DS providers. $7,500,000 will be made available to support a five-year contract term. Applicant agencies may request up to $1,500,000 annually. OTDA expects to make one SNAP-Ed III TA award.
