Due to the incidence and profound effects of MSKIs on Soldier health and performance, methods to identify recruits at high risk of injury would have significant impact on Soldier health and retention as well as reduce costs associated with MSKIs. The longitudinal monitoring of oxidative stress in military recruits may provide quantitative identification of individuals in various states of fatigue.
