The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1b) with MLC CAD Systems, Inc., 4625 W. William Cannon Dr., Bldg. 5, Austin, TX 78749-2341, as the only responsible source that can provide MasterCam Software.This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement.

All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered.The Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA), MI intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract for the procurement of Renewal of ANSA Mastercam pre-processing software licenses and maintenance support. The proposed contractor is:Ansys, 29627 West Tech Drive, Wixom, MI 48393UEI: KKRTBXL7DFX7Cage Code: 4N0D1B.

The Government intends to negotiate and award the resultant contract on a SOLE SOURCE basis to MLC CAD Systems, in accordance with both FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 19.1306. This is being sole sourced because CAD CAM Technologies is the sole distributor for Mastercam for our geographical area. Any other software would not meet the requirements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.

A sole source contract was awarded to Axsys Inc. for the procurement of ANSA Mastercam Software License and Maintenance Support.Solicitation was posted on CHESS IT-MART and an Intent to Sole Source was posted on SAM.gov on12/7/2023 with responses due 12/21/23. No objections were received.Limited Source Justification is attached.

Synopsis:NASA/NSSC has a requirement for MASTERCAM SOFTWARE RENEWAL.NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to CIMQUEST under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that CIMQUEST is the supplier of the software that requires a renewal.NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.
