The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc., for full maintenance service, emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and remote service for the Somatom Definition Edge System located at the Oscar G. Johnson, VA Medical Center, Iron Mountain Michigan.
Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 4106(c) the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc, for maintenance services for the Siemens imaging equipment (listed in Attachment A), located at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, 5000 W. National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53295, and at the Milo C.

The contractor (Siemens Government Technologies, Inc.; CAGE 0DZG1) to provide 1-years’ worth of SIEPRO Technical Service coverage on the Siemens equipment installed and utilized on Navy equipment.If there are other vendors that can provide this requirement NFPC shall consider other vendors if they provide substantial evidence that they can reliably maintain Siemens machine equipment for future requirements.
