The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with MTS SYSTEMS CORPORATION, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 12 and 13. This requirement is to upgrade a current obsolete MTS 810 to MTS FT40 version.
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCEThe United States Air Force (the Government) intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase order to a single source, MTS Systems Corporation, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) (only one source reasonably available) on or about 1 JUN 2020.
