In January 2019, planning of the City of Raleigh’s Southern BRT Corridor began with a study to help identify a preferred route for transit extending from downtown Raleigh to the Town of Garner. This work built upon the Southern Gateway Corridor Study completed in 2017 and the Wake Transit Plan Major Investment Study completed in 2018.
