The Contractor shall provide medical instruction and medical instruction writing support in all the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Medical Skills Sustainment Course (SOCMSSC) and Special Operations Combat Medic (SOCM) /Special Forces Medic Sergeant (SFMS) Courses, and Special Forces Medical Sergeant Skills Sustainment Course (SFMS3) offered by the Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center (JSOMTC), US Army John F Kennedy Special Warfare Center
Operations Forces (SOF)medic experience (SOF Combat Medic (SOCM), SOF Tactical Medic (SOTM), Pararescueman (PJ), Ranger Medic (68W), Marine Special Operations Command Corpsman, or Special Forces Medical Sergeant (SFMS) 18D) in the previous six years in tactical environments.
PEO Services is responsible for the execution and oversight of USSOCOM’s services contract vehicles, which provides a wide range of services from Knowledge Based, Logistics Management, Electronics and Communications, Research and Development, Material Management, and Medical Services to the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Service Components, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), Headquarters, and Staff worldwide.
The 23d Contracting Squadron’s Services Flight is planning to award a one-time service to establish a firm-fixed price contract to provide all non-personal services to include: labor, equipment, materials, and related items necessary to provide Tactical Medical Training for the 38th Rescue Squadron, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. The primary purpose of this posting is to conduct Market Research.
This will support theater medical facilities and Special Forces with an FDA licensed plasma blood product that is manufactured and packaged to withstand temperature and storage challenges in austere and rugged environments.The early transfusion of plasma is important to ensure optimal survival of combat casualties with traumatic hemorrhage.
The SPEARPOINTS Prolonged Field Care Training System will provide a capability for Special Operations Forces (SOF) teams to train collectively on SOF Medical Critical Tasks, in a mission scenario that replicates in-theater safe house/team house environment. The government is seeking information on the latest medical training technology in support of medical task training, to support the initial prototype.
