The Contractorshall also provide the government with a final report including a map showing the locations of allplants/treatment sites annually, and within 30 days following the completion of treatment.The Contractor shall treat weeds by spot spraying of herbicides with backpack spray units, withoptional truck, and/or ATV mounted spot spray units where suitable (no broadcast applicationwith a boom sprayer).
Apply herbicide within existing right-of-way of interstate and primary roads, as defined by Iowa DOT including all interchanges and ramps on multi-lane roadways, along both directions of travel in all ROW except where specifically specified. (Not to include any medians on multi lane routes.) Identify and control all Iowa noxious and invasive weeds by spot spraying herbicide.

Spot spray Reed Canary Grass (Phalaris arundinacea), Common Reed (Phragmites australis) and Johnson Grass (Sorghum halepense) located in and adjacent to the Patoka Wetlands. The use of spot spraying techniques will be necessary to avoid damage to desirable native species. Herbicide applications must be made at an appropriate time so that visible plant mortality has occurred before the individuals begin seed production.
