The parking pad will provide access and egress to the platform for construction and maintenance of the Pikka Sales Oil Pipeline. The pad and platform will require approximately 1,980 cubic yards of gravel and fill approximately 0.2 acre of wetland. Gas Spur Pipeline (GSP): OSA is proposing to construct an approximately half-mile above-ground natural gas pipeline to deliver fuel gas to the Project.

NOTICE OF ANALYSIS AND PROPOSED DECISION TRANS-ALASKA PIPELINE SYSTEM, ADL 63574 SPUR DIKE NO. 1 EXTENSION AT SAGAVANIRKTOK RIVER The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (DNR), pursuant to Alaska Statute (AS) 38.35.080, hereby gives notice that DNR has prepared an Analysis and Proposed Decision for a request submitted by Alyeska Pipeline Service Company (APSC) to amend the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) Right-of-Way (ROW) Lease, ADL 63574.

Severe floods in August of 2019 and recent high erosion events along the Sagavanirktok (Sag) River are causing channel changes that could erode the existing buffer between the bank and pipeline.  APSC requests to add lands to the ROW to extend the eastern end of Spur Dike 2 downstream to the north.  The extension will decrease the gap between Spur Dikes 2 and 3 and guide the channel downstream away from the pipeline.
