Mission to Sri LankaDescription:The U.S. Embassy Colombo, Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) is pleased to announce a funding opportunity through the Public Diplomacy grants program for support of American Spaces in Sri Lanka. There are two awards associated with this funding opportunity: 1) Administrative AND programmatic support for American Corner Kandy; and 2) Programmatic support for American Center Colombo.
Description: The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is supporting the efforts of the Government of Sri Lanka (GoSL) to develop the preparation of land policy papers. This is intended to support the GoSL's decisions on land policy and legal reform actions and other support activities as outlined in the RFQ.
Background: Sri Lanka became eligible for a compact in December 2016, and the Government of Sri Lanka (GOSL) and MCC are working together on developing a compact program.
Lanka proposal for a land project under a possible MCC Compact and (2) to provide support in establishing contacts and arranging meetings with key stakeholders in Sri Lanka based on personal experience and knowledge of the land sector in the country.7) This combined synopsis and solicitation notice is a request for competitive quotations.
