This work will enable the NOAA Global Monitoring Division to accomplish its mission of: Providing the best possible information on atmospheric constituents that drive climate change, stratospheric ozone depletion, and baseline air quality.
The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to issue an Owner Requested Limit approval (ORL) AQ0859ORL03 to United States Air Force for the Blair Lakes Range Support Facility under Alaska Statute 46.14 and regulation 18 AAC 50.
With this permit revision, the Department reclassifies the basis for the permit issuance to AS 46.14.130(c)(2), because the previous ORLs have been removed and the Department finds that public health or air quality effects provide a reasonable basis to regulate the stationary source. This finding is contained in the State Air Quality Control Plan adopted on November 19, 2019.
