This is a skilled technical position responsible for the treatment processes at the wastewater plant to ensure effluent discharged from the facility meets all Federal, State and Local government regulatory standards. Work involves monitoring wastewater processes and making appropriate treatment adjustments to maintain a compliant effluent.
Jurisdictions of interest include the fifty (50) states and the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands and intrastate environmental regulatory or rulemaking organizations such as local or regional air pollution control districts, and water quality management districts in states where these exist.
