Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) surgery is an advanced pain-relief procedure that works by blocking pain signals in nerves from reaching the brain, where feelings of pain are processed. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii has awarded a firm-fixed price contract for Spinal Cord Stimulator Implant and Supplies. This contract award was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source available that will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).
