\nWe are updating the networking switches which connect all data storage hardware for the Primary\nNetApp Disk Storage Cluster. The Office of Information Services (OIS) ofthe Secretary of State\n(SOS) for the State of Maine employs NetApp storage systems to support nearly all of its file and\ndata storage needs in its Primary and Disaster Recovery data centers.
The new correlator hardware shall consist of the compute nodes, data storage, interconnecting switches and software integration necessary to replace the current USNO correlator system. The new correlator system shall be capable of processing in real time recorded data streams recorded at up to Gbps from up to sixteen (16) VLBI stations simultaneously.
This cluster consists of several highly-parallel computer systems, general-purpose graphical processing unit (GPU) computer systems, and associated support equipment, including data storage systems, power conditioning equipment, racks, switches, and cabling.
