The work includes, but is not limited to, providing all labor, equipment, materials, transportation and disposal for the cleaning, inspection, and surveying of critical City-owned catch basins, stormwater mains, manholes, outfalls, drainage ditches, drainage wells, junction boxes, as well as scheduled and unscheduled (emergency) stormwater infrastructure cleaning for the City.
THE PARISH WANTS TO SECURE THE SERVICES OF AN ENGINEERING FIRM WITH A STRONG BACKGROUND IN LAND SURVEYING AND STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLANNING. THE ESTIMATED FUNDING AMOUNT IS $400,00 TO $470,000, WHICH WILL INCLUDE ENGINEERING FEES, MAPPING SERVICES AND A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF SURVEYING AND TOPO ELEVATION WORK.
Required design services may include but are not limited to water, wastewater, transportation, stormwater, surveying, project management, project inspection, funding procurement and planning. The successful firms must demonstrate proven management skills and technical competence in surveying and mapping of stormwater infrastructure, general land surveying using GPS, GIS, and other accepted surveying and mapping techniques, and civil/site engineering with emphasis placed on stormwater design.
