The proposed work includes: The reconstruction of the Hamilton Ave Bridge over Metrolink, located between Nina Place and DiGiverville Avenue. Improvements include the complete demolition and replacement of the existing bridge, new ADA compliant sidewalks and ramps, new street lighting, and utility relocations.

This property is bordered by Hamilton Street, Nichols Street, and Cherokee Street and sits just south of Walnut Avenue and east of Thornton Avenue. This property has now been deeded over to the Dalton-Whitfield Joint Development Authority (DWJDA) for the purpose of this project.

Improvements to Hamilton Street from Appleby Road to Iris Place are the responsibility of the City and CUSD pursuant to the IGA. This project is for improvements on Hamilton Street, Carob Drive, and Centre Point Parkway as required for the CUSD Central Transportation Facility and adjacent City-owned parcels.
