Improvements contemplated under this Project include the street repair, speed hump construction, and addition of bicycle lane and parallel parking along Bassett Street and Laurelwood Road. The City desires to have contractors available to perform the rehabilitation of damaged asphalt streets, including, but not limited to asphalt patching and base repairs, milling, repaving with HMA, and the removal and replacement of thermoplastic street markings and speed humps at various locations throughout the City.
The project also includes speed hump installations at three locations on Kents Lane, Milton Drive, and Chester Drive. A performance bond equal to 125% of the overall bid quotation will be required for the project. A completion date of May 31, 2024 is set for the project.
