Please indicate if the recommended fabrication processes are feasible with Ti-6AL-4V, and if the final material properties are expected to be altered by work-hardening effects, weld heat-affected zones, or heat treatment processes necessary to fabricate the titanium aeroshell structure.

The Instrument Carrier (IC) is a composite structure made of Hexcel material M55 954-6 and T300 954-6 square tubes that will need to survive to 140K temperatures. Goddard Space Flight Center will be responsible for design and analysis of the structure and the test articles.The purpose of this RFI is to identify potential interest in providing the manufacturing engineering and the fabrication for the structure.
