SHARP-1 supports the recruitment, retention, and distribution of healthcare professionals statewide through student loan repayment incentives. SHARP-1 program is for licensed practitioners providing 80% direct patient care at a primary care setting located in a federally designated Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA). Qualifying organizations consist of non-profit and government organizations.
Project will include laboratories, classrooms and faculty, staff, and student support spaces primarily for healthcare related programs. The project is located on a site in Dickson County and will provide modern and flexible space to meet the latest training requirements for workforce development.
