    Each berth will be equipped with a dedicated subsea power cable for transmission of electric power from the berth to a shore-based facility. At full capacity, PacWave South will have the potential to generate up to 20 megawatts of power, which will be transferred to the local electrical system. A fifth, auxiliary subsea cable will provide power and fiber optic data connectivity.

    Global Aerospace Corp (GAC) will evaluate solar photovoltaic (PV) cell performance after exposure to desired harsh conditions. The contractor shall 1) identify harsh condition test requirements and identify cells for testing; 2) procure and configure cells for operation, build a cell test fixture for solar testing, and conduct baseline PV testing of all cells; 3) select a subset of cells for harsh condition testing and conduct harsh condition testing; 4) repeat the baseline PV testing and analyze any performance differences; and 5) carry out planning and project reporting.
