The intent of this contract is to secure services to collect cones from conifers-including Ponderosa pine, Sugar pine, Western White pine, Incense cedar and Jeffrey Pine. Cones will be obtained from superior trees that will provide the forest with a diverse variety of seed crop from various elevations and stands.
Tree types may include Sugar Pine, RRSP (Rust-Resistant Sugar Pine), Jeffrey Pine, Ponderosa Pine, Incense Cedar, Douglas Fir.Estimated start date is July 1, 2018 but the period of performance may extend through 2019 if needed.
