Department of Mental Health (ADMH) is soliciting proposals for a public campaign to raise awareness on suicide prevention and substance use disorders within the State of Alabama. Proposals will be accepted until 2:00 pm on Friday, July 8, 2022. The submission of a proposal does not guarantee the award of a contract. Any contract resulting from the proposal is not effective until it has received all required governmental approvals and signatures.

The purpose of this requirement is to provide users the skills and knowledge to keep themselves, fellow Soldiers, family members, friends, and others safe from suicide. In 2018, Army Directive 2018-07-7, Prioritizing Efforts – Readiness and Lethality (Update 7) removed Ask, Care, Escort training as the training curriculum for suicide awareness training. Suicide awareness training was replaced at the discretion of the Commander.
