This is the solicitation notice for Project 667-18-121, Upgrade Surgery HVAC & Roofing for the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport, LA, 71101.
The design shall include temporary heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) system while Surgery is shut down for construction. The temporary system shall be reliable for Surgery and connected to the building automation system for 24 hour monitoring and alarms.The design shall include providing pre-air and hydronic testing for the system and applicable rooms.
The OR Utility upgrade includes reconfiguring and modernizing approximately 6,000 square feet of existing Operating Room space including Pre-Op and Post Surgery and storage considerations for Sterile and Reusable Medical Equipment (RME). All accommodations for a future Hybrid OR shall be incorporated into this project.

HVAC Testing, Adjusting & Balancing Services Montana VA Health Care System Fort Harrison, MT PURPOSE: Montana VA Health Care System requires the contractor to provide to provide HVAC Testing, Adjusting and Balancing (TAB) services in support of Ft Harrison VAMC., in accordance with this PWS, in an efficient and cost-effective manner, supporting the VA mission.
HVAC work will be integrated into the existing DDC system. Electrical work includes new power systems including life safety power, tel/data wiring & devices, new lighting, PA speaker systems, fire alarm, IP cameras and security systems. Plumbing work includes new sinks and faucets in casework. Fire protection work includes modifications to the existing wet pipe sprinkler systems and associated alarm work. This includes new sprinkler heads.
Scope of Work: Contractor shall furnish all parts and labor to accomplish the task of setting up a centralized aerosol extraction system. This system is to be centralized and work in the same way in each of the 18 rooms, even if the rooms are for different purposes (routine dental, surgery, etc.) Work includes general construction HVAC, construction ductwork, electrical power distributions and connections, and certain other items.
