The Sussex County Council is hereby soliciting proposals from qualified Professional Firms to provide Land Survey and Mapping Services to support the Engineering Department on projects over a five-year period. Services will include but are not limited to topographical field survey and data collection, project base mapping, boundary survey, legal descriptions, and easement and right-of-way plats.

The designated North American Industry Classification System is (NAICS) Code is 541370 Surveying and Mapping (except Geophysical), with a size standard of $16.5M. The Surveyor shall be licensed in the State of Montana to perform property boundary and retracement surveys. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation:Contractor shall provide all items listed below.

DEC is seeking proposals to 1) conduct surficial geologic mapping of the southern half of Proctor, Vermont 7.5-minute quadrangle; and 2) collaborate with the Geological Survey to develop a standardized list of map units, symbology and descriptions for surficial maps in Vermont. Up to $11,715.00 is available for one year, from June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018.

DEC is seeking proposals to 1) conduct surficial geologic mapping and develop derivative groundwater resource maps for Bolton Mountain, Vermont 7.5-minute quadrangle; and 2) collaborate with the Geological Survey to develop a standardized list of map units, symbology and descriptions for surficial maps in Vermont. Up to $17,680 is available for one year, from June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018.

Associated land-based surveying may be required to supplement the remote sensing derived survey data or to provide ground control points for aerial surveys, GPS control for hydrographic surveys and cross-sectional data acquisition on shallow water and riverbanks.

Work involves considerable collaboration and coordination with the Vermont Geological Survey and town officials. In-kind match required: A minimum of $11,232. in-kind or cash match is required. Proposal should identify the source(s) of match.
