Due to a boundary line dispute, in 2018 the Department hired Maine Boundary Consultants to research deeds, range maps, surveys and a 1986 Referees report to determine the location of a Western Property Line at Androscoggin Riverlands State Park. The surveyors research resulted in findings that confirmed the Departments believed location of the Boundary Line.
