Report of Hazardous Materials All suspect materials shall be indicated and located including mapping and images. Suspect materials shall be compared to existing hazardous material reports. Suspect materials not indicated in existing reports shall be tested. Mapping of hazardous materials including test results shall be provided for each roof to meet all regulations regarding the processing and handling of hazardous materials.
This solicitation is to contract with a qualified licensed firm to perform a pre-demolition asbestos survey to determine the extent and location of suspect ACM present and other potentially hazardous materials in the building. The Work includes hazardous materials removal and proper disposal, including asbestos, lead-based paint and/or materials, lead-containing paint, universal waste, suspect polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and other hazardous materials. The Visitor Center and Project footprint also includes asbestos cement pipe (ACP) on-site and below-grade.

A survey and testing of suspect hazardous materials must be specifically conducted and reported in accordance with 40 CFR 763.85, Inspections; 763.86, Sampling; 763.88, Assessment. The Inspector must meet the training and certification requirements of 40 CFR 763 and Appendix B to Subpart E of Part 763, in addition to Ohio EPA Codes. They must provide copies of current training certificates and Ohio license.
