2017108 High System Additional Reservoir This project consists of the construction of composite elevated tank drinking water reservoir, approximately 800 linear feet of 30” water main, 1,500 square yards of 6-inch thick HMA pavement, sundry utility adjustments, and other related miscellaneous items. This project consists of the construction of composite elevated tank drinking water reservoir, approximately 800 linear feet of 30” water main, 1,500 square yards of 6-inch thick HMA pavement, sundry utility adjustments, and other related miscellaneous items. The City of Spokane will receive bids until 1:00 p.m.
The system is supplied by two water treatment plants located in the surrounding towns of Lebanon, CT and Montville, CT. The Lebanon plant supplies roughly 75% of the water supply. Currently, the only locations that are monitored for flow are the outlet at the two plants. It is the intent of NPU to install additional flow monitoring devices within the system as well as monitor reservoir levels.
Additional work includes installation of potable tank mixer in the water reservoir and associated electrical and controls. Schedule C Additive Alternate work consists of additional improvements to add SCADA/Telemetry controls to add the Hart Park Reservoir site.
