VA Office of Information Technology (OIT) Laboratory System Reengineering Program (LSRP) acquired a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to provide effective and efficient medical care to its beneficiaries as well as fulfill the mission critical role of the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service to facilitate the provision of timely, cost effective and highest quality anatomic and clinical pathology services.
A new solution will include the migration of data and processes from that system to the new hosted RMS environment. The successful vendor will work with the City on the installation, configuration, setup, data loading/conversion, implementation, deployment, training, and support of the proposed system including business process reengineering around the workflows provided as part of the specifications herein.
Execute such activities upon Government approval b) Participate in VA Patient Elopement System business process reengineering discussions and advise or present industry leading practices, processes, and workflow c) Conduct a comparative analysis between the Patient Elopement System solution-inherent workflows and the As-Is organizational business processes and provide recommendations on process re-engineering, change management and product configuration
