The purpose of this acquisition is to acquire specialized medical facilities Operation and Maintenance (O and M) services to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) at locations throughout the Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Alaska.(DHA AOR 1 and AOR 2)The purpose of this Amendment is to revise Section M - 7.4.5 Format and Content of Volume 1 and List of Tabs In FACTOR 2 ? MANAGEMENT APPROACH (Volume 1, Tab B), Evaluation Criteria, paragraphs a. and b., Delete references to IDBIO/IPD andintegrated design-build and outfitting. Replace deleted references in paragraphs a. and b.w ith:Operations and Maintenance Services for medical facilities.
The Multiple Award Environmental Services (MAES) contracts awarded under this solicitation will be Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for a wide range of environmental services in support of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Baltimore District (CENAB) within its assigned mission areas of the North Atlantic Division (NAD), with incidental use in the contiguous United States (CONUS), Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
Should the A-E firm be awarded a task order, the minimum guarantee will be de-obligated. Each task order will have a project specific period of performance. The task orders issued under the awarded contracts will be competed under Fair Opportunity, FAR 16.505 (b), which will be awarded based upon the qualifications of the firm as required to best meet the requirements of the task order.
