The FAA Technical Operations and Training Programs Group (AJI-23) has identified a need to standardize this training and increase student throughput. In order to meet these identified needs, the FAA is seeking Contractor-provided training.The objective of this requirement is to obtain non-distribution specific Linux OS training, to include annual refresher training.

Students undergo Enhanced Hands-On Training (EHOT) where they incorporate knowledge and skills of equipment operation, work practices (e.g., use of maintenance handbooks, technical documentation, etc.), and troubleshooting techniques. These trainings provide the knowledge and skills needed to maintain, repair, and monitor NAS equipment and systems.
