Venting of refrigerants is strictly prohibited. All refrigerants (CFC's, HCFC's, HFC's Freon, etc.) must be removed by a technician certified through an EPA-approved program. Accurate up-to-date records of technicians' certification and copies of "verification of Refrigerant Removal" must be kept at the place of business or work site for at least 3 years and be available upon request of County at any time.
