There will be no decoder, mini-box, or other peripherals necessary to provide satellite broadcast signal installed at any of the TVs or anywhere other than building one, telecom closet eight (TV head end room). There will be no digital rights management software installed or permitted.
PA System Head End equipment will be located in existing Telecom Room closets. The PA System will be remote controlled and operated in accordance with VA standards. Existing receptacles on the emergency power systems will serve the new PA equipment. Existing analog speakers will be used with new IP system head ends utilizing a network audio bridge.

These bed units will be served by adjacent offices, waiting rooms, patient, public, and staff restrooms, storage, telecom, electrical closets, mechanical supply, bed storage, and housekeeping areas. Project scope will accommodate renovation of the existing space to enhance patient privacy and ADA accessibility.
