Department of State, Bureau of Medical Services (MED) will host a virtual Industry Day on April 18, 2022, from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M EDT.  This event will allow MED to brief industry about MED’s mission and background, current telehealth capabilities and challenges, and walkthrough the Telehealth – Virtual Medical Specialist Consultations draft Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Most Veterans with PTSD do not access evidence-based treatments or mental health services due to a lack of available services, distance from clinics, or the stigma associated with mental health care. Additionally, pandemic-related changes in VA healthcare delivery have dramatically increased the rate of telehealth and remotely delivered services to Veterans across the VA system.

This includes tests available by a doctor s order or an FDA approved over-the-counter test that includes an affiliated telehealth service. Documentation cited in this section shall be digitally or physically maintained on each contractor employee while in a VA facility and is subject to inspection prior to entry to VA facilities and after entry for spot inspections by Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) or other hospital personnel.
