Covered sidewalks at secondary curb: Construction of the tensile fabric shade canopy system along the secondary curb will consist of pre-engineered structural steel truss/frame supported by steel columns on shallow concrete piers to support a coated tensile fabric shade canopy system. The canopy length is approximately 435 feet long. Approximately 300 feet of the sidewalk will be replaced with new concrete slabs.
New project includes installation of new aluminum framed structure and tensile fabric building on top of existing concrete piers as well as installation of new fibreglass door in existing concrete wall opening.
Fabric Shade Structures on the secure Airside of the North and South Terminals at the Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole.
The project generally consists of but not limited to, demolition, light clearing, grading, erosion control including 2 sediment basins, seeding, storm drainage, asphalt and concrete paving, stamped concrete, concrete seat walls, tensile fabric shade structures, trellis (add-alternate #1), landscape planting, natural grass seed mix and site furnishings.
