Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Concrete and Materials Branch (CMB) has a requirement to purchase a new high temperature thermal analysis system, the Monotonic Heating Thermal Analysis Machine (MMH-19). The ERDC intends to issue an award to Thermtest, Inc., 34 Melissa St Unit 1, Richibucto Road, NB, E3A 6W1, CANADA (NCAGE Code: L9713), on a sole source basis. 

The Naval Research Laboratory Contracting Division is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for a Thermal Analysis System (see attachment 1). The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.

1) Thermal Analysis System (Qty 1 Lot)The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competitive basis this requirement. This requirement is sole sourced to Mettler-Toledo, 1900 Polaris Parkway, Columbus, OH 43240. We currently have their software; the Mettler-Toledo DSC will integrate with our existing system.
