The requested Thermal Lab Lifetime Support Plan must be procured from TA Instruments - Waters L.L.C. under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13. The service must be through a company that manufactures parts that can be used to repair the equipment in the Thermal Laboratory if it ever needs to be repaired.
The awarded contractor shall provide all upgrades to the equipment hardware and operating system software, at no additional cost to the Government during the lifetime of the instrument. These enhancements shall be delivered and installed at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Center within 30 days of issuance to the commercial market. 3. The model being offered is in current production as of the date this offer is submitted.
The lamps shall also contain a high quality Teflon® Encapsulation that provides thermal buffering and stable lamp operation over the life of the lamp as well as provided water scaling protection and containment and protection from lamp breakage. Lamps shall not produce ozone. Mounting Hardware Hardware should be provided to facilitate mounting of the lamps for proper irradiation.
