The Government has begun planning and market research for a new electronic warfare flight training solution incorporating more advanced and comprehensive capabilities based on more strenuous threat emulation requirements.
The 64th Aggressor Squadron (AGRS) and the 706th AGRS accomplishes the mission of threat emulation and combat crew training for all Combat Air Forces assets. The current “Aggressors” consist of F-16Cs as a fourth-generation threat emulation; during this contract period of performance, F-35s are also part of the Aggressor fleet at Nellis as the 65th AGRS.
