STATEMENT OF PURPOSEThe City of West Sacramento is soliciting qualifications from firms or individuals to provide consultant services specializing in the formation of a Property Based Improvement District (“PBID”) and/or a Tourism Improvement District ("TID") pursuant to the Property and Business Improvement District Law of 1994 (California Streets and Highways Code §§ 36600-36671) (“Project”).
Assists tourism and economic management with adjusting sales strategy models based on current economic/business conditions. Evaluates sales opportunities, consults with marketing team and external agencies on strategy, tactics, and return on investments (ROI). Ongoing communication with local tourism stakeholders, property owners, site selectors and brokers.
