The target population for this intervention is youth aged 18 up to 21 (youth must be under 21 at entrance but may stay in the program beyond age 21) who are unstably housed and have current or past child welfare placement history. 7) Descriptors of the youth to be served: Homeless, Housing Instability, Survivor of Domestic Violence, Survivor of Human Trafficking, Survivor of Sexual Violence, Underemployed and Unemployed. 8) Descriptors of the Family

Secondary Prevention: Identifying risk factors or problems that may lead to future family, domestic, or dating violence, and taking the necessary actions to eliminate the risk factors and the potential problem, and may include, but are not limited to, healing services for children and youth who have been exposed to domestic or dating violence, home visiting programs for high- risk families, and screening programs in health care settings.

This grant will fund activities to increase awareness of the support, services and resources available to Indigenous persons who are survivors of labor and/or sex trafficking. This will include raising awareness on how to access such resources. One project will be funded west of the crest of the Cascade Mountains and one east of the crest of the Cascade Mountains. The grant period will be Dec. 1, 2023 – June 30, 2025.

. • Human Trafficking- VOCA funds can be used to enhance the quality and quantity of comprehensive and specialized services available to human trafficking victims, provide training and technical assistance to providers and allied professionals, and to promote innovative ways to provide trauma-informed services to survivors of human trafficking.
