The History & Culture Trail project celebrates the rich African American history and culture of the neighborhoods, businesses, and people in the areas surrounding the Capital Cascades Trail at FAMU Way. The entire project consists of construction of a new pocket-park (referred to as the Community Gathering Space), a dozen public works of art, and custom artisan interpretive history stations.

The Milk District is working with the City of Orlando to recommend public art for a new pocket park at the corner of Anderson St. and Primrose Dr. as part of the Downtown Connector Trail segment of the Downtown Loop, which will serve the District. Budget: $70,000 - Deadline: October 17, 2022
