Project OverviewThe Fishers Arts & Culture Commission (FACC) with the City of Fishers (City) seeks an artist, artist team, or creative company to be begin the visual transformation of the newly open Nickel Plate Trail tunnel under E 116th Street. Three locations have been chosen as part of this phased project, shown below, to transform with a mural.

The final designer will work closely with the Tunnel Program Manager Consultant (TPMC) and ART-NSF6 FDC to coordinate connections to the ORT, ART-NSF6 facilities at A-72, and future connection with the Monongahela River Tunnel (MRT).
This project consists of the replacement of insulation for the chilled and heating water pipes in the accessible underground tunnels on campus. While insulation is removed, the condition of the steel pipe will be evaluated strategically as noted on drawings. This project initial scope is not intended to include replacement or repair of any pipe, however identified minor repairs may be added as a change order.
