The vendor is uniquely suited to provide this service because they have the physical facilities appropriate to providing boat pumpout service. They have a waterfront location, easily accessible to local and transient boat traffic and provide other services attractive to boaters. Finally, as noted above, they are required to provide pumpout service pursuant to state law.
The project will consist of the construction of two new reinforced concrete boat ramps, a new floating boat launch facility, and a new transient boat floating dock with kayak launching and recovery components Even though demolition of the old boat ramp is completed, the Contractor will dispose of additional debris off site in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Included in the financial hub would be Property Management and Marina Management, that both deal with long-term rentals, as well as short-term, transient stays in the case of boat slips. Additionally, the ability to purchase Annual Parking Permits would be included, as well as other items such as gate keys, and miscellaneous items via a cash accounting point of sale system. Additional enhancement and further improvement of our riverfront landscape and park that connects the transient boat dock built in 2017 to the riverfront and downtown, allowing visitors who visit Paducah by excursion or recreational boat to safely and more comfortably enjoy the City’s waterfront. Emergency call boxes, security cameras, a broadband trunk and other modern-day technologies will also be constructed.
