Refurbishment and updating of MXU-486 travel pods.  Please see attached sources sought and statement of work.

The 52nd Fighter Wing (FW) has the requirement for the refurbishment and enhancement of (30) thirty MXU-648 aluminum F-16 aircraft travel pods.The Contractor shall repair the travel pods in groups of 25 or less and complete all work at an off-site location. Work consists of preparation, sheet metal repair, repair of latches and hinges, painting and customization (as required).

Added: Jun 27, 2017 7:25 am The 20th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with EhPro Custom Fabricatrion for the procurement of the following: CLIN 0001: (QTY: 1 Lot) - Non-personal services, to include all personnel, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, and other items and services necessary to refurbish and overhaul eighty (80) MXU-648 aluminum travel pods.

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the 115 Fighter Wing (FW) has determined that this procurement for refurbishment of MXU-648/A Aircraft Cargo Pod Assemblies meets the criteria established for other than full and open competition.
