EPA is in the process of consolidating its Potomac Yard facility components from Virginia within the Federal Triangle Complex (FTC) in Washington DC. MAP is working on various aspects of this consolidation effort under the current contract. It developed the Master housing plan, space alterations and furniture reconfigurations, and Design Intent Documents with input from all 13 EPA programs.
Nature and/or description of the action being approved.The Office of Administrator requires furniture modifications to the existing suites within the EPA’s Federal Triangle Complex, William Jefferson Clinton North (WJCN), which is already built-out with Haworth furniture. The entire suite is not impacted by the furniture modifications; therefore, consistency in using the same type of furniture currently located within the suite is critical.
The food and beverage services cannot exceed the federal daily per diem rates.The hotel must have at least a three (3) diamond/crown/star rating or higher as defined by the American Automobile Association (AAA), Northstar Travel Media (NTM) Crown, Forbes Travel Guide or approved equivalent.The facility must be located in downtown Northwest Washington, DC near the White House complex, Foggy Bottom, or Federal Triangle areas.The Government is not seeking
The complex is rated as a Facility Security Level (FSL) 4 “high” security building by the Inter-Agency Security Committee (ISC) Standards for Federal Buildings. A 1 rating is low and a 5 rating is the highest.
