City staff will review all bids and then contact selected vendors to engage in further negotiations for the following: CONSTRUCTION OF CUSTOM LAW ENFORCEMENT MOBILE COMMAND AND EVIDENCE TRUCK BODY The contract consists of building a custom aluminum 20’L. (OD) Truck Body and complete installation on a new 2024 Ford F550 cab/chassis supplied by the City of Kent.

In order to accomplish this the NRPS requires the construction of a suitable dive truck to replace the current truck. The completed truck platform will house the equipment required for the Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU) to perform the duties. The truck will also service as the mobile command post for diving operations. The USRU utilizes both SCUBA and surface supplied air equipment to perform the function of divers.
