Tug Boat service to provide tow service formilitary vessel from Naha Military Port toYokohama North Dock

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound, in support of CFAY Port Operations, is negotiating for a firm fixed price supply type contract to provide a set of Fenders for YT- 804 harbor tug. Complete description in attached solicitation. Requirement is being procured using FAR Part 12 and 13 Procedures. SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor, HI (FLCPH) is seeking sources for a contemplated contracting action for the Tug Boat Services. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Quote (RFQ). This Notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.

Each tug boat will meet USCG subchapter M requirements.Each vessel shall have a deckhouse with galley/mess, berths, and sanitary facilities for crew of six, pilothouse, electronics space, machinery space, and engine room.  Each vessels’ electrical system shall be supported by two generators.  Two barge winches shall also be provided on each vessel. 

Additionally, multiple ocean-going scows and tug boats will be needed to perform the work during the dredging, transport and unloading operations. The dredged material would be required to meet all federal, state, and approved local criteria required by the government agencies having jurisdiction where the dredging and placement sites are located.
