The State of Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking professional design services for evaluating the service tunnel from the powerhouse to outside of Living Unit C at North Central Correctional Facility in Rockwell City.
This project consists of the replacement of insulation for the chilled and heating water pipes in the accessible underground tunnels on campus. While insulation is removed, the condition of the steel pipe will be evaluated strategically as noted on drawings. This project initial scope is not intended to include replacement or repair of any pipe, however identified minor repairs may be added as a change order.
